Parkplace Lexus of Grapevine will now be doing the ECU/TRAC fix if they think your car needs it. I am currently waiting on the parts to show up, so I can get mine done.

Thanks to Muhammad at SRT getting the Lexus Tech repair number, that I in turn sent to the Dealer. They are now doing the fix. My service agent Marlon Goocher then sent the message to all of the mechanics and big wigs at the dealership. That's what it took, after taking my car in several time to have the problem fixed and them alway telling me the same thing, "There is nothing wrong with the car".

THANKS MO.

I had my ECU update and TRAC replacement done at Park Place in Plano last week. There was a little confusion at first about the Service Bulletin, but once they found it there were no questions asked. My service advisor is James Dixon. He's been my advisor for seven years (now on my third Lexus) and I think he's one of the best.

FINALLY!!!! My ECU/TRAC fix is being done today at Park Place Lexus in Grapevine. It took 4 weeks for them to get the parts. I will let you know how the car feels after the fix is complete.

I am also having them remove 3 dents from my car for $99.00.

Just got my car back from the dealer with the ECU/TRAC fix and MAN I can definitely tell the difference. Acceleration is much crisper and the more than 1 second delay(I am exaggerating OK! but sometimes it feels like it)when mashing the throttle from a rolling stop is GONE.
WOOHOOO!!!

NO MORE DENTS EITHER!!!!

Just got a call from PJ at Park Place Plano and he says the Trac is backordered and they wouldn't expect any until August. This stinks - why can't they get more of these built? I also wonder if this was an "LS" instead of an "IS", that the problem would be remedied faster. Too bad JD Power hasn't polled me.

Naw, you should be OK with a car from new stock. The fix is being done on early VIN numbers.

Got my car back yesterday afternoon and everything seems to be fine. It's funny that I am so used to the jerky throttle response that I find myself expecting it to happen. No more! The Trac seems to be much better as well. I did get it to engage once but I actually heard the tires chirp a little before engaging, so I know they were slipping. And the engagement was much shorter than before - that's a big relief.
