All I can say is niiiiice!

Put's the E-shift crapmatic IS to shame. The suspension feels a bit stiffer and the steering a bit more precise. The pickup on the 5 speed is much MUCH better than on the slowass E-shift models. Even though I am not a fan of red, this one looked nice with the OEM rear lip spoiler and integrated clear LED's with the blacked out tail lamps. Also had the optional graphite finish on the wheels which added a nice touch.

Interior was all black and it looked sleek. The armrest was positioned perfectly with the shifter as it fell on the same level. The shifter may look a little tall but it is for a purpose which is to be able to comfortably rest your arm on the armrest while holding the shifter.

The shifter was a bit notchy compared to my Si.

Overall, I give it a thumbs up.

That;s funny you say that... I thought it was spec'd the same as the 2001... anyone?

Drive it and you'll notice a slightly stiffer suspension setup. Checkout the new catalog for the 02 IS as well and it will validate this.

But heck, just test drive it for the fun of it!

From what i heard .... Most 2002 Manuals will be equipped with an optional stiffer suspension unless not ordered that way by a customer.

the teaser brochures that are at the dealers indicate a stiffer suspension.
