Today i went around to the dealerships in CT and discussed the 2002 IS300 with some reps there. Both Hoffman and McDermott said the same thing about the navigation. They said there is no way to buy it and put it into a 2001. McDermott said that the parts department wont even carry it for 2002 replacement or addon. It would need to be ordered from japan. They also both said the armrest will be sold through parts and can be fitted into the 2001. As for that, the guy at mcdermott said it will be around 200 bucks. Both Hoffman and McDermott expect to begin selling the 2002 in mid september and so far nothing has arrived at either so i believe him on that. I was dissapointed that none have shown up though.

Well that is what i have to offer.

BTW Tical(Dan) I saw your car in the garage at hoffman today. Damn that is still the tightest IS i have seen to date. What did you have done, oil change?? I was hoping to cya there but no luck on that.

Dan man, how did the window shatter, that sux. Did you have to replace the radio cuz of a jammed cd too?? That sux. I walked into the garage and was like, "damn that is a nice IS" then andrew was like "**** that is Dan's." I dont know about the date. Hoffman said early september and mcdermott said middle september. I am sure they will get a floor model in before then but it wont be for sale and probably not even for test drive. Well man, i hope to cya on the pike sometime. I always see you but i can never find you after. Hey btw, was brian (cruzin) on the pike last sat night. I could have sworn i saw his yellow IS with the "only20" licence plate.
