Thats interesting. Coilovers are an easy install...just a few bolts here and there. Did you loosen anything other than the top three bolts and the lower bolts on the control arm?

hmm...maybe someone else knows what happened. I would just suggest looking over everything....take the wheels off and see if anything looks awkward?!

If everything looks ok then I think that you prolly stretched out your abs speed sensor wire. It it a fiber optic cable ( what the tech told me) and it is delicate.

The only way to know for sure is to go to a diagnostic place that can read the code. If it says it is the abs speed sensor then you have to go to the dealer to buy a new one and it is a pretty easy install.

I dont think the abs speed sensor wire is a fiber optic cable. I highly doubt that a system for speed sensors would use fiber cable. I use fiber optics here daily and it requires a grip of equipment. I'm pretty sure your tech lied to you on that one.

You ripped the wires inside one or both of the speed sensors, they are very easy to change but are 200 bucks each. Thats your problem.

The part numbers you need are:

Right: 89542-51010
Left: 89543-53010

Thats the only way to fix the problem.

Ok cool

how do i find out which one i ripped i looked and i could not see anything, nothing on the outside, the money is nt an issue i just want to know which one is broken without taking it to lexus and is it only the front. What do you think it would be front or back i think the front do the back wires usually do this. or is it usally the front

There probabbly is a way to find out which one is mest up, I ended up changing both and 99% of the time the problem is in the front, the rear ones are not in the way when you take the shock off and they have a much larger slack in them.
