being new to these forums,
i thought i'd start off w/ a big hey first

driving a '06 is250 w/ 20" rims

rubs a bit when turning,
but enough to the point where it's driven me crazyyy

selling the rims now
and looking to buy some 19" wheels

called a couple of shops, and they said the 20"s would work, but w/ a different offset
current offset now is +35, i thinkk

any suggestions?

what size tires are you running?... are you lowered?.... and have you tried rolling your fenders?...

It could just be the plastic wheel well that's rubbing. If it is, some people cut out the part where it rubs and others use a heat gun to make it soft and push it back a little bit.

i had a friend try cutting out part of the splashgaurd
still continued to rub
and plus, the ballast i had for my fogs kept pushing through to where they would literally be touching the tires.
so i got the entire splashgaurd patched up

tire size was 225/35-20

i wanna go lower
but i want to get a wheel and tire that won't rub so much when i do

and no, i haven't tried rolling my fenders
i really don't want to have to get to that point.
so much trouble....
=/

From what I gather, there is no problem with the fenders so you're good there.

You have 20" wheels, tell us how wide they are and what the offset is. This way we can help you further.

offset was 35

iono how wide it was, but i can figure it out and post it up later today

i already took those wheels off though
and now i'm riding on stocks
:[

i want an idea of what i should look for
i'm thinking to go back to staggered wheels
and maybe deep dish in the back?

theres your problem :)

20x8.5 with that offset and tire would probably fit perfect. hell, even a 20x9 would probably work.

so it was in fact a 20x8.5

still running on my 20's as of now
but working on selling them officially now

:[

now, w/ a setup of 19's in the front, and 20's in the back,
would there be rubbing after a drop?
