i brought my car in for the 1000 mile service and had the wheels balanced but it still has a slight wobble between 50 and 60 mph. it's very slight, but still pretty annoying. anyone else have this recurring problem? it was rainy outside when it was balanced. perhaps water in the tread caused it to balance incorrectly? i know the 17s can be pretty sensitive.

is it a constant problem?? if not..if it comes and goes..it could be a defective tire.. i'm having similar problems on a set of 18s on my girls m3... we're taking it to lexus to have them use some road force balancer..supposed to reveal any problems with the tire.. you should have lexus do this with yours as well..

i'm thinking it may be the tire as well. it's pretty constant over certain speed bands and rather predictable. i feel it more when i make slight turns than any other time. this leads me to beleive that a tire may not be perfectly round. if the wheels weren't balanced the direction of travel wouldn't be an issue.

If my car is lowered would that contribute to some wobble? if it dosen't i better take my IS200 in to check
