when im going str8...the wheel is turned slightly to the left... facing about 12:45-1:30...

is there any easy fix for this?? i find that it makes me drive a little more unstable at times..

uh...you might want to take it in to get its alignment. That is most likely the problem. Have you hit any potholes/curbs recently?

it's starting to be a known problem. Check tomorrow for listing for SBs. I will list them, and from there on, you make the judgement of whether the SB is ur situation.

All the TSB does is give the procedure for checking and lining up the sterring wheel.

Most often the cause is that you need an alignment. Get the wheels lined up and then have them center the wheel.

And yes, it's a known problem that's been around ever since cars existed almost.

It's definitely not an alignment problem, although an alignment would cure the problem, but only for a minimum amount of time, after awhile the same problem will occur. I don't know whether the TSB will cure this situation forever, but it's a cheap fix.

Tical--

I posted in the other thread about the TSB. But i will post here as well just incase you dont check one. Your alignment CAN be off and the car drive straight. if your tie rods are off to the point where your toe looks like this
\ / you will go straight. If your toe looks like this / \. you will go straight. The only time you will NOT go straight is if the toe is like this \ \. Thats when the car will go in a direction. Or if the camber in the front is off on only 1 wheel. Kinda get where im going with this? Now, even though by looking at it, it may not be noticable, but every 10th of a degree makes a huge difference. As a matter of fact, IM me or PM me.

What I'm trying to say is that you get your car lined up before you adjust the steering wheel centering. Sooner or later, almost every car is going have an off center wheel problem. I don't think it's unusual.
