Dont know if this is the right area but its electrical so here we go.

I've been looking at wiring a push button starter and heard some bad comments about how its always ready to be started since you have to have the ignition turned and ready.

My idea is to create a master switch to cut all power going from the ignition if switched off and ready to go when switched on.

I have done this before with my fuel pump on my accord. i just switched the power off so if it ever got stolen they would get maybe a mile before it shutting off due to lack of fuel.

think its a good idea? any technical help is appreciated.
