Well, with the exception of very few i have had an SRT kit for longer than most on here. I have had my share of problems, none of which i have ever discussed on this board. I have given Mo every benefit of doubt that i could have. First and foremost the kit was professionally installed and went together quite well, albeit after nine months of waiting.
On to the real story, since the install the TRAC light has been blinking , even after resetting the ECU it will return . I informed Mo of this and he sent me a " revised " O2 wiring diagram, which was implemented and did nothing. He then assured me it was misfires and that the plug gap was incorrect, so without question a new set of properly gapped NGK's went in . And of course , no change, then he suggested that i get a printout of the snapshot( at my expense) and email it to him. I did so ( 3 times may i add ), before he finally "recieved" it . At that time he said he would check it out and call me back in a few days, never got that call. So i called him back 5 or so times and finally got a hold of him , and he said he would mail out a new ecu . Three weeks later and nothing!, call Marken and he says that he will send one. Called Mo back to inquire what would be different on this ECU , and he replied nothing. He said that when i purchased the kit i was advised that i would need O2 sims ( i was not) i am quite sure that everyone here knows that if i spent 5000 + on a turbo kit, hundreds on a custom 3 inch exhaust , even more on guages and a custom fiberglass gove box for them , i would surely have picked up a couple of lousy O2 sims while i was at if i had been told to . Not to mention that when the car had a 75 hp shot of nitrous ( dynoed at 225 at the wheels) it ran a 14.3 , and after the kit the best time is still , you guessed it, 14.3. The manifold has cracked twice , first in 4 places , some as wide as 1/8 inch , and the second time , just one crack . All of this either myself or the shop that did the install has taken care of . I am very disappointed in this situation and i will be speaking with PFS about a TEC III, headgasket and whatever the hell else it will take to beat a damn LS1!
I dont consider myself a complainer or anything of the sort , this should be evident be the fact that none of you have ever heard of these problems. I didnt come on here and speak about these problems because i assumed that SRT would remedy them . Now i feel like i have done an injustice to those who have purchased a kit since then. I apologize to those and hope that you live near enough( wino, doublins, etc.) that Mo feels like he actually has to do a good job on your kits. I have retained a lawyer in this matter and i will be pursuing this! Businesses cannot operate this way and i will not be taken . I hope this has enlightened at least some of you who had planned to buy anything from them.
P.S. Marken should be running that company
