One more thing,
the glove box squeak, does it change with the fan speed? I used to have a squeak in the air system. Also, did you change your air filter behind the glove box yet?

Where on the glove box?
I wonder if it is the locking mechanism. You can apply some WD40 to it.

Take apart the steering wheel assembly cover.
It is very simple. There are 2 screws behind the steering wheel (you need to turn it). I think it just snaps apart afterwards. Check for screws on the bottom. It has been a few years, so I don't remember off-hand.

not tryin to hijack the thread or anything, but i have what sounds like a small marble rolling around in my center a/c vents up front. i haven't actually put my ear to the vent but by driving the car and sitting the the different passenger seats that's where it seems to come from. It gets really annoying and happens when i gas, brake, turn left or right. Anyone have this prob? thanks guys

You may want to try taking apart your vent system and making sure there are no debris inside. Some car disassembly is required.
