Every day when I first start my car early in the morning there is a sqeaky sound under the hood. I haven't had time to inspect it yet but I think it may be the timing belt. Am I suppose to keep it lub'd? What do I ust WD40? Anyone else experience this yet?

probably the "accesory/serpentine belt" not the timing belt...easily confused

get some spray lube stuff/ Belt Dressing at pep boys....

how many miles on the car? what year?

eh....i'm sure the sound you're hearing is the serpentine accesory drive belt, and if I were you, i would just replace it. It'll probably run you 20 bucks, and its very easy to install. If you want to just alleviate the noise though temporarily, tsoprano stated it correctly, but spray a small amount on the pullies, you don't want to get too much lubricant on a belt system.
