Just a reminder for everyone. This one may be the last one in southeast FL for a while. It seems that finding another location is easier said than done, and Ft.Myers doesn't start up again until September...

ARG! I completely forgot. I've been wrapped up in work (storm knocked out power at our facility, got generators up only to find out database was crashed) and couldn't have gone anyway...

Sigh. Guess I can put of my race tire purchase...

It was fun, nice track. It was a tighter than last time. Came in third place, an S4 and WRX beat me. I was leading 'till the last lap, I wasted my last lap, came in too hot for a hairpin, and understeered thru it. I changed tire pressure for the last lap, the car was getting tail happy as the day progressed, but I think I over did it. Lesson learned. Oh well, get them next time.

I stuck around at the end & did three $1 "fun laps".

As far as the future, they're meeting with the folks at Hialeah Horse
Track on Tuesday. If everything pans out, Equipe Rapide will be running there starting in September. Exact date TBD but most likely NOT September 6-7,as this would conflict with Ft. Myers GCAC.
