Hello
I drive a 04'sportsdesign, I was wondering if the clutch on the sportsdesign are different from the non-sportsdesign models.
I drove my friends' friends' IS which is a 04 or 05' non-sportsdesign model and his clutch was way harder. The clutch I have is so soft and long that i cannot feel the engaging point, which makes it no fun to drive. i thought it would be normal since its a lexus, but after driving the normal IS, I am was damn surprised.

The clutches are identical on both models.

There could be many factors affecting the feel of your clutch versus other IS's. KM driven through the clutch is a big one, driving style is also a big one. Other factors: tire size, clutch fluid, etc etc etc.

It's pretty tough to compare manual boxes between cars, if you're not happy with yours take it to the dealership and have them look at it.
