nothing to worry about. Your shocks will be fine for a long time on only a 1" drop.
And yeah you can get bilsteins later.

I see. Well I don't see any logic in going all L-Tuned just to have all L-Tuned, but there's at least consistency in that.Astr0LuX said:dammit didnt mean to double post..sorry.
To tell you the truth I dont know why Im going with lsportline..maybe because later on Ill be hooking up and lsport front and sides and I was thinking to just have all lsport. plus im seeing that it is a bit more than a 1" drop around and thats basically what Im looking for. they are also pretty inexpensive. As far as sways go, I dont have any yet, thats next on the list.
Read my review, 1" all the way around. Maybe a LITTLE more in the back, but not a half inch. I added some pictures to the "Hotckis Springs Installed" thread, check those out.dmoney69 said:Im pretty interested in hotchkis springs, but unsure about how even they are all around because it says 1.5 in front and 1.0 in back. thats a big difference.
Not necessarily. Mine's dropped 1 inch all around (l-tuned springs) and I think its perfect. Nice and subtle, but still noticeable.YellowIS5spd said:once you drop 1" you are going to wish you dropped it lower. I have about 1.5 - 1.75" drop which is about 1 finger gap. (actually a little less more like .75 finger gap)
but I have Tein HA coilovers so I can make it any height I want.
Lsportline handles better than stock, alot better, just had a comparison last night with another IS300 owner downunder...the drop like i metioned are .75" front and 1.45" rear...on a euro spec IS300...confort is beteer than stock IMO....good luck....Astr0LuX said:ok..well..im having conflicting opinions. Are there any major differences between the performance of the lsportline springs compared to the hotchkis? As in a direct comparison. Comfort, handling, amt of drop..etc.
During the time we were waiting for the IS to be introduced in the US, there was alot of focus on the fact that the US IS300 had its suspension tuned specifically for us 'Murcans...frylai said:Lsportline handles better than stock, alot better, just had a comparison last night with another IS300 owner downunder...the drop like i metioned are .75" front and 1.45" rear...on a euro spec IS300...confort is beteer than stock IMO....good luck....
