Does anyone know if their are aftermarket tail light lenses for the IS. and I dont mean those Pep Boys stick on looking RodMillen ones

~ Ewwww I wanna puke when I see that. I am looking for some smoked lenses for the rear, similar to what those Golf and GTi guys have one their rides. I like the IS lights with the chrome inserts I just wish they came with a smoked housing instead of a clear one. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Other than the ones Rod Millen offers I don't know of any others off hand... and if I'm not mistaken they cost five billion trillion ga-jillion zillion dollars...

They make some kind of spray that does that... dunno about how good it will look though.

A full replacement lense though will probably cost you 200-350 I'm thinking...

I already checked into that too. From all of the places and people that I have talked to I have found that there is nothing as of yet. I think we need to give it some time though. I think the whole clear taillight thing is getting played out and some alternatives will be offered soon. Just my prediction.

Yeah...seeing lotz more clear lights on too many Hondas out there. I think smoked taillights would make my Graphite IS look SICK!!!

Yo triz... why dont we all buy some cool GTS headlight covers and we can all puke together... careful don't puke inside ur cars though, its tough to clean

hahahahaaaa. Seriously, that RodMillen thing is so ghetto looking. I made something like that for my 84 cavalier like 4years ago? I had it cut out of plexiglass at a plastic shop on canal st. and then I sprayed it the color of the car and then 3M taped it to the back lights.... I will post some pics as soon as I learn how to post pics. Someone clue me in on the pic posting?

I am an automotive paint store owner and we have been paint/tinting lens covers for all different makes. I have teamed up with a painter who does them on the side. The results are awesome and we can handle any type of tint.

I am going to tint my IS covers and will post a new topic with some pictures when it is done. This might be a few weeks seeing that I have a very busy schedule ahead of me.

I dont like those cover's man, they look to stick on for my taste... thats what makes it look cheap. The fact that it actually looks like a cover is what kills it. If they mounted flush would be another story or if they covered the entire light that would be cool. They just kindas stop above the turn signal that makes a quite unsightly ride on the light. Thats definitely not what I am looking for. I will wait till they have entire custom lights. Similar to the black inner housing light that a few guys have installed.

as much as i find this amusing, i must play "Big Brother" as gotago dubiously dubbed me, and ask you to chill out. you can express your opinion all you want, but don't bag on another's tastes- or lack thereof. Not everyone likes the same sh_t and just cause its ugly to us, it might be sweet to him. (thats why even ugly girls get married) so bag on the mod all you want, dont bag on him though. this is supposed to be a cool place to hang out and i dont want to make someone feel unwelcomed.
