Will this be any kind of problem at all?

I've had the slotted rotors and OEM pads for about a month now.

They're brand new front/rear pads.

Thanks. :)

They should be fine. Just check the pads for any uneven wear when you go to swap the rotors. If you see anything out of the ordinary, I would replace the pads again as they will cause uneven wear on the rotors.

Now would I be better off buying another set of slotted rotors?

You'll probably only get half the pad life with slotted rotors if that. I say go with stock rotors.

That won't matter regarding that wear issue I recommended you check. If there is nothing out of the ordinary with the pads, you can put on any rotor you would like. If you prefer slotted, stick with those. If you want plain, then go with those.

Slotted rotors will wear pads a little faster. They are designed to 'clean' the pads as the rotor spins. This in effect wears the pads down faster than a plain rotor.
