Has anyone noticed the size difference between these two images. The first stick shift looks huge:

The second stick shift looks a bit smaller:

Hopefully the stick shifts will similar to short throw shifters.

could be the angle, but I think you're right, they probably shortened the shaft. It won't affect throws though - the throw could still be very short even with a long shift lever.

Speaking of the shifter…

Anybody who lives in the south will know what I’m talking about… You know, when you get in the car after it’s been toasting in the sun for a while and it’s like 120 inside… Have you tried to hold the shifter knob ball for more than 2 seconds? It will burn the skin of the palm of your hand!!! Now, how the hell (I guess that’s an appropriate word in this context) are we suppose to shift gears when it’s so damn hot?!

Just a revelation… wonder if anybody else thought of this?

This is going to sound dumb, but you can cover the shift knob with a sock or something...

1. It's probably more trouble than it's worth.

2. Those are the cloth seats.
