not sure if this is a good or a bad idea but i did it anyway, i was rubbing at the very top of the fender so i decided to fix it,
1) i took out the wheels well(plastic piece
2) took a pair of pliars and the lip that curves around at the top i bent it down straight
3) i took my dremmel and cut off tool and cut about 1/4 of an icnh off, i also cut a little out out the wheels well piece about 8 inches long and 1/2 to 1 inch wide and took a heat gun and pushed the liner up further.
4) conclusion it does not rub on turns or straight away bumps but im sure it will under intense cornering.
thought i would share

Actually could you post a pic of the attachment you used? I thought about using it when I shaved my rear but I honestly didn't think the Dremel attachment would do the job so I got a metal grinder and hacked the hell out of the back.
