I don't know what you're smoking, but according to the BMW press release, they sold 7532 3-Series cars during September. 3694 of them were 323i/325i/328i/330i sedans. Which is a lot more than the IS sold.
In fact, there are about an equal amount of 330Ci coupe and convertibles sold by BMW in September - 2437. That's not even counting all those 323, 325 and whatevers out there.
A total of 14494 BMWs were sold:
