been a long time since I've had a rwd car. Way back then I used to put sandbags in my trunk to increase traction for the winter time. Do ya think I need to do that for my IS300?

boy I always come up with some stupid questions don't I?

It's me again!

Well, I've never had to do those with my RWD cars (I have a 95 318iA and 97 E320 that replaced my 96 E320).

Needless to say that winter tires are mandatory. Next step is to use winter mode. This option doesn't exist on my 318i
so I put it in 'manual' mode (if I placed the selector on "2", it will ONLY use 2nd gear). Step three, DRIVE CAREFULLY!!

Do those, or take the bus.. but make sure they got winter tires too!
