Yeah - that was me - just one of those annoying things.
As far as I can tell they use the same "ivory" (light gray) colored roof liner and cloth on the window columns no matter what color combo you get on the car.
I noticed that _some_ BMWs have a similar treatment but it varies from year to year and model to model.
With my graphite car and dark grey cloth seats a black roof liner would have looked much more integrated.
