Fixed all those issues except my Dezod brake line which broke. Need to replace the whole line. Sigh

Car is throwing a B2796 Code (No communication with Transponder)

Which would explain EVERYTHING.

I just shot ya a Pm Chris which may help, I wanted to post the info too in case anyone else runs into this body code.

For the immobilizer to work right the key sense also has to work right too, so make sure that with the key in the ignition that the car doors cannot be locked(they should cycle back open). Key sense wire is black/yellow that goes to the E3 connector pin [email protected] ECU(E2 pin 10 on 2001). I would also verify that your transponder amplifier is receiving +12 to ground on the black/red wire and that the white/black wire reads continuity to ground(this is when key is in the ignition and the EFI is picked up). It also wouldn't hurt to verify the other 3 wires from the amplifier to the ECU are good, they are responsible for the code talking which tells the ECU to energize EFI. Maybe check the connections as they do pass through a junction before the firewall. If you need the prints or pinouts for these wires lemme know.
Toyota's list of possibilities...
- Faulty Key(obviously ruled out)
- Faulty transponder key amplifier(unlikely the issue if the coil has continuity/ per spec)
- Faulty transponder key ECU assembly
- transponder key amplifier wire harness(possibility)

So Checked my Fuel Pressure. Getting a healthy 44-47 Psi.
Checked my compression and getting 160-170 PSI Across the board.

So I dont know what it could be but anyways.

Picked up some stuff today that I was just a damn steal.

BC Stage 2 Cams, Unorthodox Racing Dress up pulleys and a LS400 TB Set up.

Old vs New.

Not gonna put this one in yet till the car starts. 3.5 Inlet... Da fuq. lol.
Hooks up to the OEM Wiring and its welded to the stock Y Pipe. Also it doesnt interfere with my Turbo.

Tore down most of the motor in 2.5 Hours or so. Got Both manifolds off. Just gotta unbolt the head tomorrow.

Almost a month later from when I put it together. Shes up and running. Turned out my timing was off 30 degrees.. Found that out when I lined up the mark on my Crank pulley and physically saw that the pistons were NOT at TDC.

Fucking Toyota repair Manual.

Car runs great with the cams. Small oil leak at the back of the motor.
BC264s sound amazing and run great.
Need to throw in my BKR9 Plugs to replace my misfiring BKR6 Plugs
Need to grab some Loctite 545 Thread Locker for my ABS Block.

Woot.

Yep that will do it lol.

Congrats on getting it back to life! +1 for the BC264's.

What kind of power are you looking for with this setup?

- New Wideband is in. Car is back to idling properly and feels way better.
- Fixed the 5-6 cracks in my SRT Manifold. >.>
- Tried my LS400 TB and got a super loud whistling from it. Desperately needs a retune to use it.
- Got my TRD V2 Painted. Fitment is spot on. I wanna try to run a 07 STI Lip on it.

Sooo.

Car is running so so. Bought a ACT 6 Puck clutch and Supra flywheel but Ive been quite lazy.

Detailer at work accidentally used acid on one of my Meisters. He offered to pay for it.

The low life destroyed my boost pipe.

Um.. Wrapped the center of my bumper black. Subtle change but I like it.

I think thats it for now. Driving this thing every day is fun but boy does it kill your wallet.

Dont got anything major planned after I do the clutch and tune. Not sure what to do next. Start a GTE Project for shits and giggles or go Air Ride.
