Hi everyone, I kinda need help on choosing rims for my Black IS300, so I was kinda wondering if anyone could help me out. Should I get the AVS Model 7 rims in alloy or in gun metal, any help is greatly appreciated.

is300pat has those rims on his silver one. i thought his car looked really nice. i too am looking for a set of rims for my black is. i was thinkin of goin with some balck rims. i think it would look stealth, like kit in knight rider. haha. im serious about the rims though

I think those look nice...the car is goofy as hell and something I wouldn't do but if that is what you're after fine. Are you going with 18"s or 19"s ? What about a spare? No way either of those sizes will fit in the trunk...it was a pain in the ass to get my 17" spare out.

Assman Smith- Man I'll bet your ass was in pain! Geez 17 inches OUCH. Those wheels look pretty cool, I would do gun metal and paint the calipers/ red or wheels silver and paint the calipers to matchg body color.

those rims look kinda plain IMO. I would go for a multi spoke look like the Racing Hart C2's, those would look good on your car

i think black rims on a black car would look sleek. hmm. we'll see. i might be gettin rims on friday and if i do ill be postin pics. i wont tell u what rims though. youll have to wait. 18"s though.

one more thing. i know the bolt pattern is 5 x 114.3, but does anyone know the thread pitch of the lugnuts. is it (1.5 x 12) or (1.25 x 12).. thanks

Thanks for all the help everyone. Most likely I will get 18"s. I'll probably just get a spare and put it in my garage.

I love Advan rims. Got Advan touring Cups on my Crx. The ones you want are really nice JChen. i think i may opt for the Racing Hart M5 in 18s. I think 19s would lose to much speed, not that the IS has much of that anyways..

With a car like Lexus, you want to back it up by buying high-quality, good-name rims like racing hart.

Their M5's (18) will look awesome on a IS300, especially a black one. The 3-pc desing will whoop ass.

JChen, Mike, I have Versus 7 spoke gunmetal rims. They are made by rays, so I guess its pretty damn good! It cost half of the AVS. I got 18's, but now i kinda want 19s. Too bad i spent all my money on it. I have seen black cars with gold rims and they look pretty good. i kinda think that silver rims look too plain now! Colored rims match black cars...(except white), and i suggest you get gunmetal. If i were you i wouldnt buy spares...just keep your normal spare cuz its kind of a waste of money
HRE rims are $$$. The ones on Lexuslovers probably costed a crap load! its nice though

GUNMETAL! doesn't matter what your going for...race or show...white silver and chrome are all played out...IMO gold and bronze are just ugly as hell...so i say gunmetal.
