I love the car, but I have had a knocking sound in the right rear when load is put on the suspension. Example: entering and exiting driveways, high speed left turns. I wanted to know if any of you have had the same problem.

yeah, my passengers have noticed it, and so have i, but i have yet been able to reproduce it to my dealership. its a clicking noise that you hear when your passenger gets out...

I heard it and was hoping that I was just hearing things or it was something in my trunk rolling around. You guys confirmed for me. DOH ! I am tired of having to take time off to go to the dealership for all these little things.

I got a call from the dealer today regarding the knocking sound. They said that it was the right rear shock and it had to be replaced. Don't want to start a worry fit, but be aware that my car had 550 miles on it. If you hear the knocking on your car ask them to check the shock, it might save them and you some time!

I have all kind of problems with the interior of my IS which I bought in late March - alot of squeaking noise. They replaced the trim on the passenger A pillar, plate on the lower driver door, sunroof switch plate, and now they are replacing the whole headliner. Extremely disappointed and am thinking about asking Lexus to replace the car with a new one. I am afraid about the long reliability of the car now.....
