im sick and tired of all of these guys in their intimidating integras and civics wanting to race me. they know they will lose considering the top speed of an is300 is 143 mph(but who would go that fast on the freeway). I was able to reach speeds up to 120 im my solar yellow is300, driving the 60 freeway in south cali. rice rockets are pretty annoying now especially when they dont know how to mod it the right way.

there are a grip of ppl with hondas and acuras that know how to mod a car, a lot more than me or you..
if you've never tuned a car, i think u should shut up and stop bashing other ppls rides...
dont get me wrong, i luv the IS..
but dont think ur a god or something..
one day u'll get the crap kicked out of u by a turbo integ or civic...

My advice is to just get used to it. I was once a "Rice Rocket" owner in a little Civic hatch, and bought the IS to get away from the scene, but sadly I am confronted from time to time by the local import enthusiasts and can do nothing about it. The fact that the IS is a well known performer as an import sport sedan coaxes all kinds of speed freaks to give our cars a shot. Whether it be the import, euro, or domestic crowd, they'll wanna know what all the hype is about our cars. The way I see it, I would rather own a car I love and deal with the streets, than own a POS and not get any looks at all. Just remember...there are always gonna be faster cars out there.

I beat an IS 300 in my Accord V6 a week before I picked up my IS. I wasn't like..."Oh no, I bought a slow car" I was like, my Accord is pretty fast. I'll just have to make my IS faster...that's why today I bought an HKS Hiper Exhaust and an HKS blow off valve...my IS will be a fast Rice Rocket, just like my Accord was.
