If i replace my speakers and HU will I have to buy an amp to power the speakers or will they sound good just using the power from the new DVD player?

You can use the power off the HU but you will have to bypass the factory and rewire the factory speakers. Or you can get a metra kit made for the IS and it will utalize the factory amp without figuring which speaker wires go where..

im going to replace all the speakers anyways so i think ill just run new speaker wire if i do

You don't have to buy an amp but it will sound better if you do. You could always try it without and see if you like it. In my truck I just power speakers with the HU and it's fine for that application.

guess it wont hurt to try it without and then if i dont like it ill buy an amp. you guy have any suggestion for speaker for the front and speakers for rear?
