Hi all,

I just got my new part for the console part recently. The dealer made some serious damage to the console when they were installing the stereo unit.

Instead of having them to put the new part, I would do it by myself. My experience tells that they would do some damage elsewhere while fixing your original damage.

Now, here comes the hard part for myself, does anyone has the experience of taking the top console part out ? I am talking about the top lidless storage (or where the Navigation system is supposed to be) assembly where the vents are. My difficulty lies on how to remove the soft pad. I wonder if there is some glue or anything which keeps it in spot.

thanks

The "lint collector" ? Haha I can't help laughing it.. But even the tissue box will slide.. what a useless design...

I reminds me of the last generation Camry. The base model doesn't come with the power mirrors but the car is designed to have power mirrors and so what they did to strip off the power mirror feature was manual operated mirrors without any handle on the inside, ie, you have to roll down the window and push the mirror to adjust it. What a shameful design to downgrade a car..
