it sounded like the bearings on the motor were bad. It was fully functional, just made a little more noise than it should.

My A/C fan does this. Ticking noise like a bearing is out. Has anyone successfully rebuilt their A/C fan?

There are used joints on eBay for about $100, but I figure why spend if I'm fully capable of doing the rebuild myself...
