I just got my new Silver IS last week. I noticed while washing it today that the rear circle lights on the trunk have Toyota on it.

I understand that LEXUS is part of Toyota, but I did not expect to see this on a LEXUS product. Does this bother anyone else?

By the way I am new here. The car is a treat to drive and I am having no problems whatsoever with the car.

Don't worry about it since it's such a minor detail. Probably 98% of the car says "Toyota" on it (like the window glass, trim parts, et al.).

I guess I never really looked that close to the other components. Just happened to notice the light.

Just try to remember that Lexus is just Toyota.....In Japan (origin of product), all Lexus models are only under the Toyota badge.
