I have a new 2008 IS350 with navigation but no Mark Levinson. In my previous cars (mostly BMW) I could change the rate at which the radio volume increased automatically versus road speed, to compensate for, for example, noisy tires. So far, I can't find a way to do that in this car, so I end up turning the volume down each time I stop in traffic. Can someone tell me how to access that program in my nav/audio system ? Thanks.

Push the Audio button to the left side of the screen and you will see at the bottom left hand side of the screen DSP. Push DSP and make sure that ASL (automatic sound leveling) is on. Congratulations on the new ride and welcome to the site.

Thanks Jekyl...but it's on...I want to change the programming in it ! My car has the HKS accessory exhaust, which sounds nice, but is a bit louder than usual...so I need the radio to ramp up its volume more aggressively with speed. Any ideas ?

Thanks
