I recently got my cf seibon hood not a great fit though.I want to now if i need to reinstall the black thing,i think it is called the firewall of the hood cause there are no holes to reattached it.will the heat of the motor do something to my cf hood

nah it will be fine, i dont have it installed on my hood. its a seibon also

well it increases fading actually... if you notice the fading on most hoods is on the "Hot side" of the car meaning the passenger side. Putting that black piece on will help prevent fading or at least make it not fade as quickly... I am going to snag one up here shortly to put on.

how are you going to install it no hole for the plastic pins.I also have mine but can put it on
