Ok all I have a question, or a series of questions actully.

1. Has anyone installed an 05 radio into and 01-03 is300? Is the stock wiring harness the same for all years.

2. When ordering a grom audio ipod adapter, did you have to specify the year for your car or just is300?

3. Grom tech's say overseas the harness changed for 05, but they aren't sure about the us-spec is300s.

I think that covers it, im trying to find out for myself and other users who might have put an 05 deck in their 01-03 with bad decks.

Pretty sure 01 is the only one thats different...someone correct me if I'm wrong.

01 has 2 connectors instead of 1. The second plug has the TX+ and TX- Wires.

02-05 U.S. radios are interchangeable.

I put an '04 headunit in my '01. It's been in there for about 3 years now. Just plugged right in.

Why install a newer radio?? Doesn't the grom interface work plug and play with the 01 factory deck???
