I own a 2008 Lexus is250, obsidian black with a beige interior (not exactly sure the name of the interior). When I bought my car 2 years ago I didn't really know what I was doing, I regret getting it black with a beige interior. I am saving up so some day I can trade it in for a starfire pearl is250 with a black interior. I dislike how you can see the beige in my car, I got it tinted 35% all around a few months after I bought it but now I want to go darker. I realized if I went darker on my tint the interior wouldn't show as much, the back window is the worst because (I am not sure exactly what it is called) the part directly under the back window shows the beige a lot since its such a big window and the beige is really close to the window. Can someone recommend me how dark I should go on my tint so it still looks good, but hides the beige interior as much as possible?

A buddy of mines has a BMW with beige interior and he has 15 all the way around and you cant see what color interior is unless looking through the front windshield so that's what I would recommend. However if in cali you can have only 35 in fronts I would only do 35 in fronts and 15 back and rear.

I live in california, darkest you can go on the front is 35%, the rest you can go as dark as you want.
I live in cali too, tint in the front is illegal..but as long as you don't drive stupid you'll be okay..I have 20% in the front and I've only been flashed once by the cops at night..I'm guessing he was able to see my face through the 20% bc he didn't stop me or follow me

It also depends on where you live

In Delaware and some other states I read you can go as dark as you want on the rear windows and windshield just that the front two have to be legal per state laws.. which makes most sense IMO

It's always trickier with a light interior. What shade did you end up going with, OP?
