i know its gona be 5speed but it there gona be an auto trany too. what i mean is will you be able to switch from stick to auto like the audi. driving stick is fun but not all the time

I'm strongly considering getting a 2nd IS (manual of course). But first I must improve on my manual shifting abilities.

isn't that what is in the current IS300s, the tiptronic tranny?

It is "E Shift" and it is standard on 2001. 2002 you can pick either a manual or an automatic with E Shift.

i think his question was whether or not you could get a five speed and also have e-shift.

that would sure be nice, but it's a fantasy
