So the problem is, is that the FIPK interferes with the strut mount - partially covers it. Really not keen on choppin on it. So and idea popped into my head, that i havent heard of before - not that Im a rocket scientist of somethin. Its all in the geometry. So I was looking at intercooler and intake couplers. Its your average 3" diameter at the TB and intake end - so easy peasy. They make 30 degree and 45 degree couplers. Going to get both, but hoping the 30 degree works, as it is a more shallow angle, and hopefully will not alter air flow in the tube into the TB. Heatsink can be relocated to other hole.

This hose may work, but if the angle causes a king, just get a new hose that works

Moving on,.........

So hoping to change the geometry, and tuck the filter into the open space formed by the heatshield
and air scoop.

Some extra space to work with, may be able to increase.

Will probably need to alter the geometry of the bracket.

Will likely go with Megan tower bar due to nice price.

May be a bit till I get to it, but will update.
