Dear Members,

Has anyone purchased and installed the Pro Lex Performance Strut Braces and Trunk Brace?

I like to have their comment since I'm about to order a set from the store.

Please let me know if it makes a big different before and after the installtion during cornering!!

Thank you very much and look forward to your help!!!

check the stop, drop, and roll forum for posts on the plp bar(s). from what i hear, they're worth every cent in looks and performance. when i get the $$ together that's the brand i will be going with.

Have you seen one yet? PLP spent a lot of time and $$$ researching and developing those braces. I think they're worth it. (Of course, we sell them in the store, but still...)

Worth is determined by what someone is willing to pay. They are able to sell these at the asking price, so they must be worth the price. I have seen them, and having worked in an aerospace machine shop for 31 years, they are very over priced! But then, people tell me my favorite wine, Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon, is over priced and not worth the cost. To each his own I guess.

I bought all three. The front and rear strut braces are very nice quality and have made me seen some major improvements in handling performance. :D The trunk one did not affect the handling or stiffness IMO. :-?

Sure as hell pretty's up the trunk though doesn't it?

I don';t have either PLP bars, but they are DAMN nice. 3x the quality of any other out there. But you gotta determine if it's worth the money to you. I will doubt very much you could actually feel a difference between a PLP and JIC front strut tower bar, but the quality and looks are beyond compare.

Plus, I think Mike developed/designed the front one to clear the engine cover. With JIC it's a hit and miss thing.
