i own the plp short shifter and it shifts pretty good
however this thing makes a lot of noise in every gear except 4th.
sometimes i really hate the noise and i want to go back to stock, except i feel bad becuase i would have wasted $240.

overall, if you care about noise in the cabin dont get it, if you dont care about noise then its a great mod.

ps. becuase of the shorter shifter, the leather boot kinda looks saggy and stuff, but owell

i have had both. i liked the plp much better. by the way, the noise went away after a few months. make sure to grease it up good.

In the end, I chose the PHR and added a Momo shift knob and boot. Here's my evaluation of this setup.

I have the PLP and I just installed it this past weekend.

It is slightly louder and it didn’t bother me at all..

I decided to change the shift knob and go with the TRD little ball. Well not thinking anything of it but changing the shift knob did actually make the shifter a tad bit quieter.. There is less vibration and chattering. Although I still here it its not as loud..
