I am going to install my 12" IDMAX tomorrow but while installing my amp on an amp rack I dropped my drill smacking my capacitior. There is now a 1" long dent at the bottom of the cap, that is very superficial. Do you think that the capacitor is still safe??? It does not look like the casing was compromised but I am still worried. Will a little dent be dangerous??

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated!!!

Thanks!

The least damage you did is reducing capacitor's effectiveness.
You can try to see if it still works. Just in case, stay away from it when you do it (not likely anything will happen, but to be on the safe side).
