I hooked up a PS2 to my stock headunit. The sound is absolutely horrible. I tried using an FM Modulator, then switched to an FM Transitter because I heard that would be cleaner sound. No luck there either. What kind of fm modulator or fm transmitter didja guys use. Do you guys have the same sound quality problem? Where did you ground to? Maybe that is my problem. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Grounding may be an issue.
A grounding loop on your audio output, prior to FM Modulator, may help.

Also, look into this thread. If that adapter works, it would be a great and easy way to add AUX inputs to stock audio.

i started off with a FM modulator too, and it sucked...then switched to a Blitzsafe audio adapter, and its much cleaner. look in the thread vlad_a posted above.

Also, try running your PS2 from AC using ext cord (for testing purposes), rather than DC-AC converter. That may also be the source of the noise.
