I have just experience the RE040 on the snow, then I ordered a set of Pirelli Winter Ice to fit my stock rims, but anyone know how the winter ice perform on ice or snow?????
IMO the Winter Ice's are good. I've been driving over patches of ice and accelerating off them (2500-4000 rpm) with no slip. I have them fitted over the stock 17" alloys.
We've gotten over 18" of snow here in the past week and mine have performed awesome. I bought an extra set of rims (Konig Reign 17") from Discount Tire and the Pirelli's (same as stock size) and have been very impressed. The total package cost me a little over $1000
