i dont know shit about systems.
so please spare me.

sdv-p7 is the cd/dvd/vcd brain

and the avh - p6500 is the monitor with the am/fm.

i might buy a sdv-p7 from a member here on the .NET.
i pmed the guy my questions, but he didnt write back.

so i just wanted some answers before i purchase.

if i buy both and get it hooked up. i will be able to play dvd's and it will show up on the monitor?
basically im asking will they function together properly?

also will it be ok to run with a stock amp/system?
also will i be needing anything else for both of them to function together?
also the install price [good estimate, will be fine]

thanks.

Stock amp needs to go (I understand avh - p6500 has a built-in amp, so you're good there).
Stock rear speakers are useless too.

Don't forget the dash kit. I recommend JDM. It requires relocation of 2 buttons if the heated seat option is inlcluded. Check .NET store.

I bet the am/fm tuning will be as good as it gets.
Verify the info on the Amp presence, though.
I just quickly looked over specs of the packages having that unit @ Crutchfield.com.

I don't have that unit. I'm in the middle of customizing my own.
