Hi all, looking for my next toy, and have been looking at a RSM or G-tech Pro Competition. Just wondering with the RSM:
1) Where have you guys mounted it? A pic would be nice
2) Is it removable? So, can I take the display unit out when i leave the car?
3) Any specific issues with the install on our cars?

Thanks for any help

peter, rsm's much bigger because of the fancy screen... won't fit in coin holder...

i'd mine mounted right below the stereo unit... i think it's the best place to mount it... 8)

not very stealth on my car but here you go:

That looks pretty good. Where do the wires go behind the unit?
I guess it might be more difficult to fit there with the stock headunit since its higher

I'm thinking about creating some sort of cradle so i can put it under the coin holder or something. Or, maybe a multidirectional scoping arm so i can swivel it.

If only the IS came with spare slots =(

damn...nice place to put it.......very creative......... :D

are you worried someone might mess with it though? or is it the gen 2 with the lock button?
hrmm, i've never really thought about that. I don't really think it will ever be a problem, all my friends that i drive around are respectable.
