Well my dream looks like it should become a reality tomorrow. I've been in love with this car ever since it was created but could never afford it in college. Well I'm graduating in 3 weeks and got a job so now I'm gettin a car Hopefully everything will go through tomorrow...
I read something on here earlier about someone who wouldn't buy any IS that had been test-driven - wait for one fresh off the truck. The one i'm buying tomorrow has 56 miles on it... Would you really wait for one with 0?!?? Just looking for any opinions...
Also, I've been hanging out around here for about a year but never posted cause i didn't have the ride. i was just reading and trying to learn... i've done a search on coilovers but all i'm trying to find out is what exactly they are and how they differ from springs etc. I'm new to the mod world and don't know much about cars. Anyways, I'm gonna *try* and get some sleep tonight... Can't wait till tomorrow!!! 8)
congrats to both of you...i wouldnt worry about the 56 miles on it...lexus' come broken in, so even if it was driven hard (which i doubt it was) it wont hurt it.
Im pretty sure that all cars have some miles due to some sort of testing. I remember reading this in road and Track. Yeah anf good luck and welcome to the family. Your gonna love it. Peace.

They test drive it in Japan, to double check that everthing works fine. Then they inspect it at the port again, an when it comes into the dealership, they inspect and test drive it again to assure that everything is in working order.
I remember the excitment when I went to pick up mine !!O boy !! You are going to have a hard time sleeping tonight and a hard time going home from the dealership tomorrow.
