PFS lead technician Ray Wilson drove customer Mark Lofquist’s IS300 Stage Two turbo automatic to an impressive 11.77 @ 118.5 mph at the Battle of the Imports held at Maryland International Raceway this Saturday evening.

This is the same MSM car that is shown in the video at the PFS BBQ. Ray credits the swift shifting of the auto transmission for the low ET without pushing the horsepower too high.
This was achieved with the production customer setup with only the addition of DOT street slicks and 5 gallons of C16 race gas. The car put down 445 rwhp on the Dynojet before heading to the track.

Ray is looking forward to running his 800-rwhp animal in the near future, which should make it into the 9’s we expect.

Thanks Ray, Mark and Russell for a job well done.

Peter, do you sell your "secret" for the automatic transmission shifting? Whatever it is, i'd like to buy it. Let me know and i'll give you a call, maybe we can work something out.

Not that you would, but I don't think he wants to sell his secrets so other companies can tear it apart to see how he did it.

Again, not saying that you would do such a thing, just saying that might be where he stands. Reverse engineering is one of the worst problems in this industry.

Just my $.02

well all stages for different companies are different as you probobly know :). If it was a manual I would say it was the driver but with an automatic I don't know :-? It must be Peter's handiwork with that Stage II :p

congrats on the times peter!

whoever mentioned the ltuned doods car running slower, well yes it could be the lack of experience with the manual tranny as well as lack of experience racing period that has him not running as fast. also boost levels ect..
