as you know, the forum here has gotten a bit lame and out of control lately. no need for me to be part of this anymore. so after a few years, im retiring. the NE still rules this site. im just talking my time elsewhere with the LC and EM forums. later everyone, you all have my number if you need me.

.net has changed for the bad and its sad because being on here for 4+years and seeing all versions of the website and how its grown was a good thing but seriously with power comes responsibility but those with the power now really aren't that responsible but like to show off their power.. it was fun while it lasted...

Thats because this entire website revolves around registered members, webstats and site hits generated mainly by the PL. without the PL.... there is a fraction of the traffic.

Oh well..... hopefully dan will finish the lexotic website soon

I'd really hate to see everyone leave this regional forum because you disagree with management...

As for a new moderator, I don't know where Marc gets his info. I gather that there is a new site update on the horizon and than many changes will be made then.

pump some new life into this forum and get it out of the rut....this is a a LEXUS IS300/250/350 forum last I checked...not some off-topic haven.....as an enthsuiastic IS300 owner, I want to claim back this forum from the people who have nothing better to do then warn people and lock posts, and not even pay attention to people and their passion for our cars and our friendships we have through this forum!

Last I checked marc everyone in all of the specific topic forums were passionate about the car. if this was about talking about the IS300 mechanically or asthetically it would be in the specific forum and last I checked all those forums are up and running and still enthusiastic.

all i was offering was a suggestion of a way to have fun and live w/in what is laid forth. I wasn't trying to get into it w/ you, just offer a suggestion of how you guys can do whatever you want to do, perhaps in different areas. But hey, I just like to do my thing and proceed w/ the path of least resistance. Be a groundbreaker and forge forth, it's gotten you so far on this site already.

I actually thought you guys going into the PL w/ OT stuff would be fun and you guys would have fun with it, perhaps not. If not no biggie, i've had bad ideas before.

Jeff, my post was not directed toward you whatsoever, I think you made some good statements....its a shame that other people dont look at it as open-minded as you do...and they tend to take things a bit too seriously on here with the "warnings, locks, deleting of threads" and thinking it actually solves anything when they are given for very stupid reasons and do not do any good but to piss people off and retaliate and get hostile
