I have an ‘02 is300 that just had an engine swap after 325k miles from a 2004 gs300 with 220k on it.
everything in the hood is new aside from the exhaust system which is stock and transmission mounts. Everything else has been replaced. I bought the car from my best friend who owned the car for 6 years.
The car is from Iowa, then Cali, and now Florida where I’m driving the car now.
I’ll drop a video with the engine and muffler
noise.

Check wires, Plugs, Coils, connections, and crank reluctor wheel.
I went ahead and did what I really thought was the problem and replaced the stock exhaust with a $150 eBay exhaust by DNA motoring in TX.
Stock exhaust was clogged and also had a hole in the muffler box.
CEL is off and has been off for a few hours. Drove the car 17 miles, no lights, runs a shit ton better because it can fart now.
Posting a clip of the exhaust on a warm start with a couple of revs for those that are curious about the eBay exhaust
P.S. my local retailer for a GReddy Revolution quoted me a 7-8 month wait for the exhaust so this was the best option for me to get the car running.
