Hey guys i am new here and would like to thank all of u for your generally great advice. I am seriously considering a 2002 is and would like to ask the opinion of those who actually know, the owners. How does it stack up to 3 series in terms handling and driver feedback? And im wondering if ne one has found out if the 2002's still have the ecu problems. I hope u guys can help me out thanks

in terms of handling, most car magazines choose lexus - on a 200 ft skidpad, the lexus is consistently in the low .9 g's..... .91 or .92, whereas the bimmer is around .85 or .86g's....in a slalom the IS holds a faster speed by a couple MPH...and that is with the automatics....the manuals are supposed to have tighter suspension and are lighter...
