so today i was told that when the AC compressor kicks on the fans on the radiator are suppose to automatically switch on,and a mechanic told me to do this to check on functionality im having with faulty radiator fans, anyway, i turn it on and of course, NOTHING, compressor doesnt come on and no cold air, i was told these is300's have a sensor that tells whether the refrigerant level is too low or too high and prevents the compressor from turning on and causing possible damage. so my next idea is that the compressor could be burnt and leading back to the faulty functionality of the fans because one of them is used to cool the compressor? whats the likeliness of this? should i try adding refrigerant and see what happens or even waste my money?
