yes its safe, the previous owner used it, max 30 sec at a time, at full wide open throttle only....

PM if you guys are serious, faulk, since you are local, we could meet up this coming weekend, and I am willing to re-work the price for a cash/local pick up...let me know..

bump. it will be safe on a stock block.
Rules to adhere to:
Run colder plugs
Use only on Wide Open Throttle
Dont constantly use whenever.
If using over 75 spray, retard timing
Use an RPM switch. Spraying at a low RPM could be problematic

sooo..........tempting

Q... what RPM is good to start spraying? & do you use an RPM window switch or a TPS switch or a combo of both...?

Is this setup something that can be safely configured to use in a "roadrace" application as well as "drag racing" per se...? IE: is it configurable to use the spray under WOT say in 2nd/3rd/4th gears & up only...?If i understand correctly.... using a TPS switch means it will engage when you are at FULL WOT only & in any gear...

I am trying hard to understand the risks of using this on a motor that is focused on road racing & what not Vs Straight line blasting....
My biggest Concern:

I am just not sure if there are any down sides to using this stuff in an application where there are ALOT of FAST transitions from partial/full/partial/off throttle and very rapid on & off throttle modulation etc going on thru a lap.... my concern is that it might not be so good for the motor to see a really short blast of Nitrous based power for those 2-5 seconds you might be on full throttle before lifting big time for a turn or bump or what ever happens on track... & then nailing it down again.... or lifting slightly & then getting back on it hard ......Or lifting & blipping the gas to down shift etc....?
if i can get some info on how I could use this safely on a road course maybe i am overthinking this & worried too much about it, But I am DEFINITELY interested in the potential......

After seeing the Hasport Franken-Civic race with bottle power thru several time attacks etc... i know it is possible ... just not sure how safe it would be on THIS car...

Anyone...?

If i was a "straight line" oriented guy i would have bought this already...

THanks again

I honestly do not know a thing about Nitrous nor would I attempt to pretend.....good luck researching it.........there are plenty of people on this forum who have been successful using it...:approve:
