PERFORMANCE RATINGS (from car and driver)

Zero to 60 mph. . . . .7.1 sec
Standing 1/4-mile. . . 15.3 sec
Top speed (drag limited). .144 mph

It is definately a sweet car that can be made to be sweeter!

Wow, A normal, good natured bmw owner-new member!

I bought the IS because it was new, fresh, cool looking with sufficient performance and Lexus reliability and about 8K cheaper than the 330i.

Price difference was definately a factor compared to a BMW.

I liked the look, and the options (I wanted a moonroof, graphite gray color, LSD and CLOTH seats even before I knew that the IS300 would have those available).

The car is a bit more quiet than a BMW, and may turn out to be more reliable.

Performance is OK, but not exceptional.

I also find the IS300 to be comfortable and fun to drive. The seats fit me perfectly and the steering works great.

Also the fact that the stereo sounds much better than the ones in the BMW 3 series is nice.

If it weren't for the price and the fact that it isn't yet available, I would prefer a 4 door E46 M3 but I had to settle for something a little more realistic.

Yes, thank you finally a NICE BMW owner. I knew there were some godfellas out there. Well thank you for admiring our vehicles as much as we admire YOURS. Another member has posted stock #'s to answer your question. Once again thank you for being mature and respectful. KUDOS
